The list below shows examples of items classified as dangerous goods:
Aerosols containing polishes, degreasers and cleaners.
Compressed gases (flammable, non-flammable and poisonous), e.g. tear gas, oxygen
cylinders, camping gas, butane refills for hair curlers and lighters.
Corrosives, e.g. acids, alkalis, mercury, spillable batteries.
Poisonous and infected substances, e.g. weed and insect killers, infected blood, virus.
Explosives, e.g. ammunition, fireworks, flares.
Flammable liquids and solids, e.g. paints, thinners, lighter and heating fluids, cleaners,
adhesives and other articles, which are easily ignited.
Oxidizing substances, e.g. bleaching powder
Radioactive materials.
Dangerous Goods
Materials that due to their chemical and/or physical characteristics may be hazardous
to passengers, crew, ground staff, the environment, the aircraft or other
load onboard.
Note
Articles and substances as powdered or liquid dyes, pickled foodstuffs etc, which do not
fall within the definitions of dangerous goods, may in the event of leakage cause a serious
clean-up problem. To prevent further leakage during transport, the passenger must therefore
re-pack these items.
5.3. Prohibited Items

accepted for carriage by passengers or crew:
Alcoholic beverages, containing more than 70% alcohol by volume.
